Due to a gift from a departed Ancien, I was able to go to Camerone 2007 in Aubagne with my wife and attendant.

We were also able to see my Family in Holland.
It is for that reason I have included the Personal photos of our extended holiday



First off, my sincerest thanks to the family of our benefactor and the Ancien who facilitated all the necessary transactions to make it happen.

Thanks to our former RM board member Charles L. who came from the UK to meet us in Paris and took us out for dinner. Unfortunately, we could not delay our trip to Aubagne to meet with Patrick Hervier, we were hoping to meet him on the Gare de Lyon before our departure to Aubagne.

Cpl K and his lovely wife were incredible as to how far they went out of their way to make our time one that we will never forget. It was great that Flash was able to come along with us.

The trip to Puybloubier, the Millau viaduct and subsequent dinner at Cpl K’s home was one of the highlights of our trip.

I met many anciens from my time and one from my Escadron. We did not know each other, but maybe when we see pictures of that time will be recognizing one and other.

The day of Camerone was great, Cpl K got us from the hotel and after the ceremonies we had a few beers (shame on me) and I got to meet the former moderator of this board

Seeing my family in Holland after so many years was an emotional rollercoaster for all of us.
